An Interview with Mike Boyle, On-site Technician
Powering Procraft highlights the individuals who bring our work to life—skilled, creative professionals whose ideas and integrity fuel everything we build. Through candid conversations about their paths, perspectives, and the culture that connects us, we celebrate what makes Procraft a team unlike any other.
What inspired you to pursue a career in AV/tech integration? What drew you to Procraft Media?
Mike: I was given an opportunity to work at a live event when I was a teenager and enjoyed the work. A few years later I started a job going AV installs with an integrator in Phoenix and preferred using tools and being on my feet to other office jobs I had in the past. Chris Estes let me know about Procraft and I have been on board ever since.
What types of projects have you worked on in the past that you’re most proud of?
Mike: I am always proud when a video wall is completed.
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
Mike: I like to play music.
If you could have any superpower on a job site, what would it be?
Mike: Super strength!
What’s your go-to snack or drink when you’re on the road or in the field?
Mike: Water and pretzels
What’s your definition of a job well done?
Mike: Completed scope of work with a system tested thoroughly and a clean job site/work area.
How do you approach troubleshooting when things go wrong on-site?
Mike: Assess step by step where the issue can originate from.
What do you think makes a great team?
Mike: Flexible and responsible people who can communicate with each other.
What does doing it “The Procraft Way” mean to you?
Mike: Completing work the right way. Being able to put your name on something and stand by it.
What tools or gear do you never leave home without?
Mike: It depends on the work, but a 11-in-1 and Klein scissors, no matter what.
